STAGS' LEAP WINERY ESTATE
1.15 MW DC

Stags' Leap Winery Estate is host to a 225.792 kW DC solar installation system capable of generating 300,306 kWh of green energy annually.

Wine grapes have been growing on the lands of Stags' Leap Winery Estate since the 1880's, and the property itself has always been a working ranch. Winemaking is traditional here, focused on a pure expression of the land.

Foster's Wine Estates currently hosts four solar installations, including Etude, Asti, Beringer and Stags' Leap Wineries, financed and owned by Perpetual Energy Systems, a comprehensive developer of solar powered renewable energy systems. The total project will generate 3,852,271 kWh, eliminating more than 2.0 million pounds of CO2 emissions annually.

The reduction of 2.0 million pounds of CO2 is equivalent to:

Taking 183 passenger cars off the roads for a year

The amount of CO2 that it would take 155,267 trees to process from the environment in a year
