ETUDE WINES
103 kW DC

Etude is host to a 103.488 kW DC solar installation system capable of generating 142,086 kWh of green energy annually.

Founded in 1980, Etude produces world-class Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Carneros Pinot Noir. The underlying philosophy at Etude Wines is that winemaking begins in the vineyard, long before the grapes are harvested.

Foster's Wine Estates currently hosts four solar installations, including Etude, Asti, Beringer and Stags' Leap Wineries, financed and owned by Perpetual Energy Systems, a comprehensive developer of solar powered renewable energy systems. The total project will generate 3,852,271 kWh, eliminating more than 2.0 million pounds of CO2 emissions annually.

The reduction of 2.0 million pounds of CO2 is equivalent to:

  • Taking 183 passenger cars off the roads for a year
  • The amount of CO2 that it would take 155,267 trees to process from the environment in a year
